Now it has been close to a year that Genelia D’Souza made a dream debut in Bollywood with her movie Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na after such a long time one would feel that the reports related to the movie would die off but they keep on coming. Now the movie is back in reports just prior to the release of her next movie Life Partner.

A peep into the movie and you cannot ignore the similarities in the two movies. The first and foremost thing that the audiences will notice is the comeback of the Pappu step that was made famous in the track Pappu Can’t Dance Saala. While Genelia was shooting for the song Teri Meri Ye Zindagi along with Fardeen Khan, she requested Bosco Ceaser to imbibe that step in the choreography.

She did this after innumerable requests from fans who liked the step very much. Now other striking feature is the friendship that forms an integral part of both the movies. In addition, the love stories in both movies revolve around Genelia. In her first movie, it was more of college life but her in this movie she deals with much more mature subject in the form of marriages. Even the release dates of both the movies are same that is July 4.

Genelia is aware of the similarities that exist and she knew that there would be people reporting that all of this was planned but she says that it is co-incidental that the stories have so many similarities. She is all excited due to the pre release hype that the movie is getting. She will be promoting the movies and will be hoping that the magic is repeated the second year around.
