Remember the ever-smiling girl in the movie Kalyug who end up dying when she is framed for being a part of the porn industry. Yes the girl Smily Suri who also is sister of Mohit Suri who directed the movie. Now contrary to the popular belief she was not always the choice to play the part. She had to go through the entire process just like any other actor who ants to get an opportunity to work inside the Bhatt camp.

She has one thing going for though she was like an intern doing her work inside the Bhatt camp now that cannot be accounted for a lot. She had to do all her work like being familiarized with each and every minute aspect of filmmaking. She used to go through all the scripts that were later offered to stars. Often going through those scripts, she used to wonder what these girl who are selected in the auditions have that she is missing.

While going though the script of Kalyug one day she got really interested since she really connected with the character of the girl. She decided to go ahead and ask Mahesh Bhatt if she could play the part. Bhatt Saab said that it is not that you turn up to him and say that you want to become an actor so he asked her to audition for the part next day.

What happened after the audition is history. So nervous was she on the day of audition that she forgot to keep the money for the rickshaw fare. After she made it through the auditions did Bhatt Saab ask Mohit to give her the part in the Kalyug.
