Soham Shah made a name for himself with the movie Kaal and after working with a banner like Dharma Productions you would expect more stuff from him in the next year or so but in his case, it was something different. After the movie, he had a fallout with Karan Johar only to find that he had nothing to work with for four years.

After doing so well in your debut movie, you expect for much better things. Parting ways with Karan and that too on bad note would not have been on his list but for giving him the big break he remains grateful and indebted to Karan. Therefore, after all this time what made him comeback and that too so strongly? It was his friend Rafi Kazi who arranged a meeting for him with Raj Mehta and from there on one thing led to another and he was finally back to directing movies.

Like his debut movie this time also he will be working with a huge banner in the form of Shree Ashtavinayak. He is letting Sanjay Dutt taking all the limelight and he says that he was the one who truly believed in him and supported him all the way during the making of Luck. When I decided to caste Ravi Kishen in a pivotal role in the movie, many people thought that it might not be the right move.

However when the makeover was complete there were no doubts that he was the best fit to play the role. Seeing him in big boss made me think that he perfect for the part. The movie will also have the likes of Imran Khan, Mithun Chakraborty and Danny Denzongpa.
