Soham shares the experience of shooting Luck

Sohan Shah had the opportunity to set the dice rolling in the casinos of South Africa while he was shooting over there for his movie Luck. He even won himself some money after he won a bet he placed on the roulette table. He is hoping that same luck would continue to follow him when the movie is released at the box office. The movie sees characters of all age groups and barring Sanjay Dutt, he says that it is hard to predict what each actor would bring to the table.

He was inspired to make the movie after he watched 13 Tzameti though he claims that barring the gun sequence he has not taken anything from that movie. He also brushed aside the rumors, which said that the movie bears a resemblance to the movie The Condemned. His wife was the one who first noticed the antics of Ravi Kishen on the show Big Boss. He was on the look for someone who was flexible and who could scare as well as make the audiences laugh.

Ravi fitted the role perfectly. He is much more than the Bhojpuri star an image that the media seems to have given him. Mithun Chakraborty and Danny Denzongpa he said might be old but they bring a great deal of experience on the sets and in terms of stamina while shooting, they gave all the youngsters a run for their money.

Imran Khan suggested Shruti Hassan for the role but at first Sohan was rather uncertain whether she was the perfect choice. It was only later that he came to know of her singing talents and fitness levels of the beautiful lass. The movie also has no lip sync songs as having them would have mad them look very unrealistic.
