Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were recently asked by the Filmfare to host a part of the Filmfare Awards for them but they decided not to appear on screen together. The reason for that is unknown and Konkona Sen Sharma was used as a last minute replacement alongside Deepika. Now they have turned down Vogue magazine to appear on their cover. It is a big thing to appear on the cover of Vogue and then to turn down an offer from them is even a bigger thing.

They turned down the offer, as they were not happy with the theme of the photo shoot. They were supposed be having a fight over a men’s shirt. The reason behind the theme was to obviously display the fact that they were fighting over their common friend Ranbir Kapoor .Deepika who is currently dating Ranbir Kapoor declined and so did Sonam, as she did not want to be in the midst of controversy again. Sonam and Ranbir were linked together by a section of a media during the release of their debut movie Saawariya.

They two actresses though maintain that all is well between them and that in fact they are good friends. It seems as though all is fine. So can we hope that they will share the screen space at some point if the screen is good or is it likely that they will refrain from making an appearance together? Only time can answer this question.

The two ladies are having a packed year ahead and would be hoping that they would carry the momentum they are have generated. Deepika is currently working on Love Aaj Kal whereas Sonam has Ayesha and Come On Pappu ahead this year.
