Sonam Kapoor recently turned twenty-four and she celebrated the happy times with friends and family who were there with her. She is presently in Macau where she will be performing for the first time on the grand stage of IIFA. She is all geared up for the event but at the same time she has butterflies in her stomach which is bound to happen considering this is her first time.

She was recently heard saying that from her childhood days she always wanted to become a star. She made it clear that she wanted to be a star and not an actor. An actor is someone who can fulfill his dream by acting inside a theatre but I always wanted the stardom. She sure managed to do that after the performances she put in her first few movies namely Saawariya and Delhi 6.

She also said that whenever she needs any advice she looks up to her dad Anil Kapoor. The stardom comes with the added pressure of performing nicely but she if confident that she can handle it pretty well. She has managed to take out some positives from the three-decade long career of her father. He survived because he trusted his instincts and did what he felt was right and not what somebody else told him to do.

She will be not be a part of any rat race like her father and will forge her own path. She will be having movies like Ayesha and Sahibaan that will be releasing in the coming months. Some nice performances in these movies will further increase her stardom.
