Sonam Kapoor’s Delhi 6 has opened to mixed opinions. The audiences and the critics have appreciated her works. She says that she had prepared a lot for the movie and she is happy with the response of the audiences. She talks about a particular scene in the movie that is a part of the title track. She says that the scene was an idea of Rakesh Mehra and was done by Vaibhavi Merchant.

In the scene, Sonam walks into the changing room with a Salwar Kameez and comes out wearing a top, a skirt and a bandana. She says the scene was hot in a very different way to what she had in mind. She says that the scene has a lot of innovation. She says that she enjoyed playing the glamorous Bitto after playing a non-glam role in her debut Saawariya.

She says that she has herself seen girls that leave house wearing a different outfit and change to a different one when they reach college. She says that this is done because some types of clothes are not allowed to be worn by parents. The girls want to look beautiful and there is no problem in that. She says that they also know that wearing such type of clothes might lead to eve teasing but girls will be girls. She says that all this is due to the conservative attitude taken by the families.

Sonam Kapoor is happy the way scene turned out to be because this is the way they wanted the audiences see it. She is also happy with the laurels and kudos she is receiving.
