Sonam Kapoor, daughter of star Anil Kapoor, who is just a newcomer in bollywood has been signed now for another movie with Abhishek Bachchan. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has signed her for his forthecoming movie Dilli 6.

This is the second time when she will be paired opposite a star son. She is actually replacing Vidya Balan in Dilli 6. It’s has been rumoured that Vidya was the first choice of Mehra for this movie but she had turned down his offer due to some dates problem.

The number 6 behind the title stands for the postal code of Delhi’s historical Chandni Chowk, where Mehra resided for some time. Both Sonam and her dad Anil Kapoor gave their nod for the subject after hearing the story from Mehra.

It’s been also a hot news that producers of Dilli 6 have offered a fantastic price to Sonam for acting in this film. Now that is too good for a newcomer infact. She has just started her career and in her very second movie she is going to act opposite Abhishek Bachchan.

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra , who last made the mega hit Rang De Basanti, is very excited about this movie. He has done a lot of hard work for finding the right cast for this film. First it was Hrithik Roshan who was going to do this movie but again due to date problem, movie goes into Abhishek’s lap.

Now what more can Sonam Kapoor expect with this kind of start of her career. Truely Anil Kapoor will be a proud dad indeed.
