Aishwarya Rai has been there a few times and will be there once again. However, for the first time Sonam Kapoor will walk the red carpet at the Cannes film festival. It will be the first time that Sonam will be visiting France until now the only way she had seen the place was through the books she read. She is very excited about walking the red carpet with Aish as she is simply whom she has adored her as a person and as an actor.

Her nerves will be steadied though as her father Anil Kapoor will join her who has become and international face himself after the success of his movie Slumdog Millionaire worldwide. Sonam is planning to catch a few premieres at the film festival. Now whenever an Indian goes to Cannes the outfits are the second most talked after things after the actor.

Sonam will be wearing the outfits designed by Anamika, Manish and Gaurav. An international designer has done one of her outfits. She is feeling confident that she will be able to carry off her Indian attire with ease and with grace. Joining her and Aish on the red carpet will be Penelope Cruz and Eva Longoria. All the four gorgeous ladies will be there walking the red carpet for their brand L’Oreal.

Aish has been the face of eth cosmetic giant for years now. Sonam sure has come a long way from her days as an assistant director Sanjay Leela Bhansali to her performances in Delhi 6 and Saawariya and now with Cannes film festival it is just the icing on the cake.
