Sonam Kapoor seems to be having sharpest rise in the industry when compared to all those who made their debut around her time. The Hollywood Reporter recently tagged her as the next big thing in the Asian cinema. The magazine in the past has predicted many future stars. This was the first time they did a story on Asian cinema and Sonam was grateful that they chose her to represent the face of Asian cinema.

The issue Next Generation which they issue annually contains the names of all those newcomers who they thing are the next big think on the block. One of the reasons why they chose her was due to her ability to think on her feet, which was evident in her first two flicks Saawariya and Delhi 6. Now Sonam is taking it all nicely.

She says that it feels good to be known on the international circuit but she is not eyeing for a Hollywood flick as of now. She says if she is approached with any project she will take it like just another project. After reviewing it if she thinks that the script is good and the people involved are nice then only will she give the nod.

She will be in action at the IIFA awards to be held in Macau. She will be performing on the song Masakali from her movie Delhi 6.theer is also a surprise element to the performance. She will be having someone performing with her but whom it will be is unknown yet adding to the curiosity factor.
