Bollywood suspence thriller, Aabroo, directed by C. L. Rawal was released in the year 1968. The movie starred Ashok Kumar and Vimi in lead roles while Jeevan, Sunder, Nirupa Roy, Mukri, Deepak Kumar and Rehman also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was composed by Om Prakash Sharma and Master Sonik in collaboration while the songs were rendered by Mohammed Rafi, Mukesh, Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Manish ( Ashok Kumar ), who is a doctor by profession. He meets with a beautiful girl named Neena ( Vimi ) in Kashmir and instantly falls in love with her. Neena’s sister takes a promise from Neena on her death bed that after her death she will get married to her husband, Shekhar ( Deepak Kumar ). Neena get married to Shekhar after the death of her sister. Manish then once again enters in Neena’s life but this time as the friend of Shekhar. Manish starts staying alongwith Shekhar and Neena in their house.

Manish get shocked to learn that Neena is now married to Shekhar. Problem arises when Shekhar is poisioned by someone and Manish is accused of doing this. Situation gets even worse when Shekhar dies in the hospital. Manish is presented in the court where he get shocked to see that his own brother is fighting the case against him. All evidences are pointing towards Manish. Whether he will be able to prove his inoocence in front of court or not?
