Bollywood family drama, Aadmi Aur Insaan, directed by Yash Chopra and written by Akhtar-Ul-IMan was released in the year 1969. The movie starred Dharmendra and Saira Banu in lead roles while Jhonny Walker, Feroz Khan, Mumtaz, Ajit, Nana palsiker, Achala Sachdev, Manmohan Krishna, Kamini Kaushal, Iftekhar, madan Puri and Anwar Hussain also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the well knwon veteran music director Ravi while the songs were beautifully crooned by Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with two very close friends named Munish Mehra ( Dharmendra ) and Jai Kishen ( Feroz Khan ). Jai has helped Munish in various ways and also send him to England for his higher education. Munish is now working as an Engineer in Jai’s prestigious dam project. But Munish refuse to work alongwith Jai when he reveals that Jai is indulged in some illegal activitioes as well besides his business. Jai thinks that Munish is refusing to work with him because he is also in love with the same girl, Meena ( Saira banu ), with whom Munish is in love relationship.

Munish on the other hand is ready to give up his love life for his friend Jai but he is not ready to compromise with his principles for anyone. Jai gets enraged with this behaviour of Munish and decides to ensure that Munish will not get hired anywhere else. Munish then gets a government job and is assigned the task of investigation about the collapse of a railway bridge. Munish investigation brings him to the conclusion that Jai is the one responsible for that collapse of railway bridge.
