Bollywood movie, Aaj Ka Arjun, directed by K.C. Bokadia was released on August 10, 1990. The movie starred Amitabh Bachchan and Jayaprada in lead roles while Raadhika, Suresh oeroi, Kiran Kuamr and Amrsh Puri also played important roles in the film. The movie was distributed under the banner of BMB Pictures. The hit music of the film was given by Bappi Lahiri and the songs were sung by Lata Mangeshkar, Shabbir Kumar, Mohammed Aziz, Amit Kumar, Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy. The film was shot at the location of Rajasthan. The movie went on to became one of the biggest hit of that year.

The movie starts with Bheema ( Amitabh Bachchan ), whose whole world revolves around his younger sister Laxmi ( Raadhika ). Thakur Bhupendra Singh ( Amrish Puri )are the alndlords of the village. They do every possible torcher to the villagers. Thakur’s son Lakhan ( Kiran Kumar ) gets Laxmi pregnant. When Bheema learns about this, he goes to thakur’s haveli and plead them to accept his sister as heir daughter-in-law. Bheema tries to take revenge but accidently kills his sister. Bheema is imprisoned.

Bheema returns back to the village after completing his imprisonment time. the villagers ask him to leave the village otherwise Thakur would not leave any of them alive. But a police officer ( Anupam Kher ) and some villagers stands beside him and ask to stay there. Thakur kidnaps Bheema’s nephew Kanhaiya ( Guddu ) and ask him to obtains thumb prints of villager on the papers he want.
