Bollywood romantic thriller, Aaja Meri Jaan, directed by Ketan Anand and written by Pawan Sethi was released on September 17, 1993. The movie starred Krishna Kumar and Tanya Singh in lead roles while Shammi Kapoor, Prem Chopra, Manohar Singh, Deven Verma, Rakesh Bedi, Pran, Virendra Razdan, Govind Namdev, Durga Jasraj and Satish Shah also played important roles in the film. The music of the film was composed by the forusome Amar Biswas, Utpal Biswas and Nikhil-Vinay while the songs were rendered by S. P. Balasubramaniam, Anuradha Paudwal, Mohammed Aziz and Mano. The movie went unnoticed because of the release of some big banner movies at the same time.

The movie starts with young and handsome, Chand Kapoor ( Krishna Kapoor ), who meets with a beautiful girl named Tanya ( Tanya Singh ) and instantly falls in love with her. He tries to woo her but fails everytime. However, in the end Tanya realizes his pure love for her. She too falls for her and they both decides to get married with each other. But the problem is that Chand belongs to a wealthy family while Tanya is from a middle class family. When Mr. Kapoor ( Shammi Kapoor ) learns about Chand and Tanya’s relationship, he warns Chand to keep distance from Tanya.

But Chand ignores his father’s warning and keep meeting with Tanya. In anger, Mr. Kapoor anounces Chand’s wedding with his business friend’s daughter. Chand becomes furious to this decision and make it clear to his father that he will get married with Tanya only. Mr. Kapoor decides to play a trick which will led to a misunderstanding between Chand and Tanya. Will he be able to keep the two lovers seperate from each other?
