Bollywood action thriller flick, Aakhri Baazi, directed by Shakti Samanta was released on April 14, 1989. The movie starred Govinda and Mandakani in lead roles while Shatrughan Sinha, Moushami Chatterjee, Kunal Goswami, Sonam, Pradeep Kumar, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Mac Mohan, Dinesh Thakur, Asit Sen and Sujit Kumar also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the well known music director Anu Malik while the songs were crooned by Suresh Wadkar, Amit Kumar Ganguly, Sadhana Sargam etc.

The movie starts with two best friend named Ram Kumar ( Govinda ) and Laxman ( Kunal Goswami ), who are living together a wealthy lifestyle in the city. Ram is the younger brother of Prashant Kumar ( Shatrughan Sinha ) and is living alongwith him and his wife, Parvati ( Moushami Chatterjee ). Laxman is an orphan and is living in the same family. Laxman becomes a police inspector by profession. He is establish himself as a brave and honest police officer of the police force. He is assigned the job of investigating and arresting underworld don, Cobra ( Pradeep Kumar ).

Kunal soon manage to find few evidence against Cobra and is about to arrest him. But before he could proceed further, he is brutally killed by Cobra’s goons. Enraged Ram seeks revenge from Cobra and pledge to kill him at any cost. Whether Ram will be able to take revenge from Cobra or he will also face death before killing him.
