The comedy thriller Aankhen was released on April 5, 2002 under the banner of V R Pictures. The movie was directed by Vipul Shah and produced by Gaurang Doshi. The main roles in the movie were played by Amitabh Bachchan, Sushmita Sen, Akshay Kumar and Arjun Rampal while the presence of Paresh Rawal and Aditya Pancholi supported the film. Music of the film was directed by Jatin-Lalit while the songs were sung by Aadesh Shrivastava, Vasundhara, Nitin Raikar, Arun Bakshi, Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik.

The movie also displays Bipasha Basu in a special appearance. The story of the movie is about Vijay Singh Rajput ( Amitabh Bachchan ) who is very punctual about his work and thus, is given special respect by his seniors and juniors. He is an honest man that does not have any flaw in his record. But sometimes loyalty could also lead you in trouble. This is what happened to him.

Vijay Singh Rajput found himself in trouble when he discovered that some bank officials were cheating their clients with money. Vijay loses his temper on the employee and thus loses his job. In order to take revenge from the bank officials he mad a plan to rob the bank but not by himself but through the help of three blind men Vishwas Prajapati ( Akshay Kumar ), Arjun Verma ( Arjun Rampal ) and Ilias ( Paresh Rawal ). He blackmails Neha ( Sushmita Sen ), a teacher by profession, to train them to rob the bank.
