Yesteryear hit romantic movie, Aap Aaye Bahar Aaayi, written and directed by Mohan Kumar was released in the year 1971. The movie starred Rajendra Kumar and Sadhana Shivdasani in lead roles while Prem Chopra, Mumtaz begum, Rajendra Nath, Raj Mehra, Kamaldeep, Meena T., Surendra and Madhu Apte also plated important characters in the film. The melodious hit music of the film was directed by veteran music director duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Kishore kumar, Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar and Hemlata. The movie was a box office hit of that year and is still remembered for its music scores.

The movie starts with young and dashing Rohit Kumar Verma ( Rajendra Nath ) and his two childhood friends, Whisky ( Rajendra Nath ) and Kumar ( Prem Chopra ). Rohit meets with a beautiful girl named Neena ( Sadhana Shivdasani ) and falls in love with her. After few meetings Neena also falls in love with Rohit and both starts planning to get married with each other. On the otherhand, Kumar too falls in love with Neena and sends his marraige proposal to Neena’s father Mr. Bakshi ( Raj Mehra ). But Neena rejects Kumar’s marraige proposal without giving it a single thought. Neena’s rejection results in Kumar’s anger.

Kumar seeks for an opportunity to take revenge from Neena. Just shortly before the marraige of Neena and Rohit, she molests and rape Neena. When Rohit learns about this, he gets into a fight with Kumar resulting kumar loses sight in his left eye. Rohit tries to covince Neena that he will her only. But Neena refuses to get married with him as she thinks that she is not worthly of Rohit anymore. What will happen now? Will Rohit and Neena will come together once again and what about Kumar?
