Bollywood romantic movie, Aapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai, writtena and directed by Anubhav Sinha was released on January 10, 2003. The movie starred Priyanshu Chatterjee and Shakshi Shivanand in lead roles while Om Puri, Farida Jalal and Arundhati Roy also played important roles in the film. The melodious music of the film was comnposed by the music director duo Nikhil- Vinay while the songs were beautifully crooned by Jagjit Singh, Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Anuradha Paudwal, Alisha Chinoi, Asha Bhonsle, Harshdeep, Anuradha Paudwal and Alka Yagnik. The movie was a flop at the box office.The movie starts with a suspended cop named Samar ( Priyanshu Chatterjee ), who is in the search of a criminal. He flies to Calgary in search of that criminal. There he meets with a beautiful girl named Pakhi ( Shakshi Shivanand ) and instantly falls in loev with her. Pakhi too falls for him and they both start romancing in the beautifull locations of Calagary. Pakhi is the daughter of a rich Indian businessman named Sam ( Om Puri ) who loves his daughter very much and is very caring for her. He wants her daughter to be happy forever.Pakhi tells her father about her relationship about Samar and wants him to meet with Samar. Her father is a protective one who takes a while to accept his would be son-in-law. Both, Pakhi’s father and Samar agrees to meet with each other but only to come across a big shock.
