Bollywood romantic movie, Aashiq Hoon Baharon Ka, directed by J. Om Prakash was released in the year 1977. The movie starred Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman in lead roles while Danny Denzongpa, Sulochana Latkar, Preeti Ganguli, Nadira, Pinchoo Kapoor, Rehman and Om Prakash also played important roles in the film. The hit evergreen music of the movie was directed by the well known veteran music director duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar etc.

The movie starts with a young and handsome guy named Ashok Sharma ( Rajesh Khanna ), whois living a middle class life alongwith his mother ( Sulochana Latkar ). Ashok gets an opputunity to go to Switzerland for some reasearch purpose. He readily accepts this offer and travels to Switzerland. He meets with a wealthy businessman there named Chandidas Rai ( Rehman ), who offers Ashok a job in his uranium laboratory. Ashok accepts his offer as it seems to be a quite good opportunity for him for his future.

Ashok then meets with a beautiful girl named Veera ( Zeenat Aman ), who is actually the daughter of Chandidas. They both falls in love with each other in no time and decides to get married soon. But before they could tell Veera’s father about their relationship, Ashok is arrested by police in the charge of stealing uranium. And to the utter shock of Ashok and Veera, Chandidas has framed him in this wrong case.
