Bollywood movie, Aaye Din Bahaar Ke, directed by Raghunath Jhalani and written by Sachin Bhowmick was released on November 4, 1966. The movie starred Dharmendra and Asha Parekh in lead roles while Balraj Sahni, Sulochana Latkar, Nazima, Rajendra Nath, Sunder, Raj Mehra, Madhu Apte and Leela Mishra also played importanat roles in the film. The melodious hit music of the film was composed by the veteran music director Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were beautifully crooned by Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, Mahendra Kapoor, Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with a young and handsome guy named Ravi ( Dharmendra ), who is living a happy life and prosperous life. His family comprises of only his mother. However, he has no clue of his father’s name and he has never asked his mother about him. He meets with a beautiful girl named Kanchan ( Asha Parekh ) and instantly falls in love with her. He tries to woo Kanchan and after intial resistance, Kanchan too starts developing feeling for her. She later realized that she has actually fallen in love with Ravi. Both Ravi and Kachan expresses their love to each other.

Ravi decides to get married with Kanchan soon. Ravi bring her to meet with his mother, who also gave her nod for their marraige. Ravi starts preparing for his marraige with Kanchan. Ravi has never asked Kanchan about her family and is totally unknown about her past. Just before marraige Ravi learns that Kanchan is already married to another guy and has a child too. Ravi get shocked to this news and starts hating Kanchan, who however tries to convince him that all this information is baseless and she is not married to anyone at all.
