Songs of Aazmayish
Bollywood movie, Aazmayish, directed by Sachin and written by Rumi Jaffrey was released on April 21, 1995. The movie starred Dharmendra and Anjali Jathar in lead roles while Rohit Kumar, Ashok Saraf, Mohnish Behl, Dinesh Hingoo, Kunal Khemu, Prem Chopra and Kamaldeep also played important roles in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the well known music director duo Anand-Milind while the songs were rendered by Kumar Sanu, Mohammed aziz, Shailendra singh, Alka Yagnik etc.
The movie starts with young, beautiful and wealthy, Anju Khanna ( Anjali Jathar ), who is living a happy life alongwith her parents. Her father, R. K. Khanna ( Prem Chopra ) is a businessman but has been having some problems because of the union leader, Shankar Singh Rathod ( Dharmendra ). Actually Shankar is demanding better income for the workers and has declared a strike against the owner of the mill. Anju meets with a guy named Raja ( Rohit Kumar ) and falls in love with him.
But Anju’s father wants her to get married with a guy named Lucky Gupta ( Mohnish Behl ), who is the son of his friend. Anju introduces Raja to her father. Khanna get shocked to learn that Raja is actually the younger brother of union leader, Shankar. Khanna refuse to accept him as his son-in-law and forbids Anju to see him again. He also sends some goons to kill Raja but he manage to save himself with the help of Shankar. What will Shankar and Raja do now?
