Bollywood suspense action thriller, Ab Kya Hoga, written and directed by Saawan KUmar Tak was released in the year 1977. The movie starred Shatrughan Sinha and Neetu Singh in lead roles while Pinchoo Kapoor, Indrani Mukherjee, Ramesh Kapoor, Mahavir Shah, Asrani, Gopal Tak and Chand Usmani also played important character sin the film. The hit music of the film was directed by well known music director Usha Khanna while the songs were Crooned by Mohammed Rafi, Shailendra Singh and Asha Bhonsle.

The movie starts with Ram Sinha ( Shatrughan Sinah ), who belongs to a wealthy family. Ram’s mother arranges his marraige to a beautiful girl named Chtralekha ( Neetu Singh ). Soon they both get married to each other. But right on their first night, after seeing the face of his newly wed wife, Ram gets a huge shock. Ram accuses Chitralekha of being a ghost. He also suspects on her that she is out to kill him. However, Chitralekha denies to his saying and tries to convince him that she is not a ghost but she fails.

Ram alongwith his friend decides to relocate in some other city but whereever he goes Chitralekha follows him. Ram learns that Chitralekha had lost her lover in her previous life and now wants to to kill him so that they can be together forever. But he is no mood to give away his life so easily. Unfortunately, Ram meets with an accident and is assumed to be dead. Then starts the real sroty of lies, deception and betrayal?
