Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo was a patriotic war movie released on December 24, 2004 under the banner of Movie World. The movie has been directed and produced by Anil Sharma. The actors in the significant roles were Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol and Nagma while the roles of Kapil Sharma and Divya Khosla were also important. The music of the film was directed by Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Alka Yagnik, Sneha Pant, Anuradha Paudwal, Udit Narayan and Kailash Kher.

The movie Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo marks the debut of Divya Khosla who seemed to do a great job in the film. The strange thing about the movie is that it is being promoted as an Indo-Pak friendship movie and what it showed in this name is two countries joining hands to fight the militants trying to sabotage the Amarnath Yatra. It was very sad for Amarjeet Singh ( Amitabh Bachchan ) who was just about to retire to see his son Vikramjeet ( Bobby Deol ) sacrifice his life for the nation. He felt sad again when Vikramjeet’s son Kunal ( Bobby again ) decided to quit army and go abroad.

Kunal was a young and handsome guy in love with a girl named Shweta ( Divya Khosla ) whom he saw at a desert festival. Shweta has been married to an army officer Rajiv ( Akshay Kumar ) who was supposed to join his duty right after his wedding and was taken by the Pak forces as a prisoner. Shweta decides to settle again and Rajiv allows her to choose her life after returning from the jail. Meanwhile threats were posed by the militants trying to spread terror on pilgrims in Amarnath Yatra. They were supposed to be backed by the Pak forces.
