Adhikar was a romantic drama released in the year of 1986. The movie was directed by Vijay Sadanah and produced by Jawaharlal Bafna. The significant roles in the movie were played by Rajesh Khanna, Bindu, Tina Munim and Tanuja while Lucky, Raza Murad, Danny Denzongpa, Zarina Wahab, Vikas Anand and Paintal were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Kishore Kumar.

Adhikar was a romantic and social film that revolved mostly around Vishal ( Rajesh Khanna ) and Jyoti ( Tina Munim ). Vishal and Jyoti come from different backgrounds and inspite this fact fall in love the day they came across each other. The problem to their life was posed by their families who didn’t want them to meet each other but inspite the opposition both gets married to each other. Both were happy soon after the marriage but their life had something else in store for them.

Problems due to misunderstandings in their marriage started arising gradually. Jyoti gives birth to a baby boy Lucky ( Master Lucky ) and despite this the problems continue. Jyoti and Vishal also own a former winning racehorse, and Vishal is a jockey, who used to ride him. Vishal was not keeping well and thus was advised by the doctor ( Vikas Anand ) to not to ride the horse anymore. Lucky matures and lives with his father who is now separated from his wife.
