The war movie Agni Pankh was released on February 27, 2004 under the banner of Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd. The movie was directed by Sunjiv Puri and produced by Dhillin Mehta. The top roles in the movie were played by Jimmy Shergill, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Rahul Dev and Akshay Anand while the roles of Shamita Shetty and Divya Dutta were equally important. The story of the movie revolves around Siddharth ( Jimmy Shergill ), a colorful fighter pilot who is highly popular among the ladies; Sameer ( Sameer Dharamadhikari ), Siddharth’s friend and another fighter pilot; Vishal ( Rahul Dev ), a senior newly married officer; Nupur ( Divya Dutta ), Vishal’s wife; Anjana ( Shamita Shetty ), a tomboy and a chopper pilot who is in love with Sameer; Surbhi ( Richa Pallod ), daughter of rich businessman who didn’t like pilots initially but finally ends up loving Siddharth.
