Ahista Ahista was a romantic movie released on August 18, 2006 under the banners of Anjum Rizvi Film Company and P R Films. The movie had been directed by Shivam Nair and produced by Anjum Rizvi. The actors in the lead roles were Abhay Deol, Shayan Munshi and Soha Ali Khan while supporting roles were played by Shakeel Khan, Sohrab Ardeshir and Kamini Khanna. The music of the film has been directed by Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were sung by K K, Kunal Ganjawala, Jayesh Gandhi, Tulsi Kumar and Sunidhi Chauhan.

The movie Ahista Ahista is a debut film for the director Shivam Nair and is based on the same old topic of love. The film revolves around a girl from a small town who is standing at a crucial junction of her life and was troubled by her past. She had no idea of her future and was helped by a guy who starts putting her life back on track. The movie is about Ankush ( Abhay Deol ) and Megha ( Soha Ali Khan ) who had never met each other and were poles apart. Megha was in deep love with Dheeraj ( Shayan Munshi ) and lived in Nainital. Dheeraj promised to marry her and thus she runs away from her house but only to be ditched by him as he was never serious abou her.

While Megha lived in Nainital, Ankush lived in Delhi where this simple guy earned his daily bucks by standing as a witness to the young couples getting married in the registrar’s office. Megha comes across Ankush who was ready to help her in any possible way. He also gives her moral support needed by her while focusing on his self development. He soon becomes a bank representative who helped people in opening their accounts. Two started sharing their ups and downs and this was the time when Dheeraj returns back to have Megha ack in his life.
