Aitbaar was an action thriller flick released on March 22, 1985. The movie was directed by Mukul Anand and produced by Romesh Sharma. The important roles in the movie were played by Raj Babbar, Danny Denzongpa, Dimple Kapadia and Sharat Saxena while the roles of Suresh Oberoi, Leena Das, Anupam Kher and Huma Khan were also important. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Bhupinder, Asha Bhosle and Ila Arun.

Aitbaar was an action film with the series of thrills at right intervals in the movie. The story of the movie revolved mostly around a young girl named Neha ( Dimple Kapadia ) who is the only daughter of a wealthy and widowed man named Mr. Khanna who wanted her daughter to marry and get settled soon before he passes away. Neha in fact loved a person named Sagar ( Suresh Oberoi ) but the problem was that he was not willing to marry her. So she marries the choice of her father.

Neha gets married to her father’s choice, a tennis player named Jaideep ( Raj Babbar ). The movie takes a turn when soon after her marriage, her father passes away and she realizes that Jaideep didn’t love her any more and in fact was very abusive towards her. She again comes across her first love Sagar who is a successful singer now. Jaideep also started taking in her father’s business now, left alcohol and apologized for all the beatings he gave in the past.
