Former bollywood model and actress, Sonali Bendre, was born on January 1, 1975. She is married to Goldie Behl. She began her acting career with a flop movie titled Aag opposite Govinda. She was first noticed in Suneil shetty starrer action thriller Takkar in which she was the leading heroine. She then worked opposite Shahrukh Khan in a romantic comedy English Babu Desi Mem but failed to get success at the box office window. However, she was appreciated by audience for her beauty and look in the film.

Her next hit film came in the form of Ajay Devgan starrer Diljale in which she played a simple sweet but terrified girl with excellence. She did a bunch of films opposite Suneil Shetty in the form of Bhai, Sapoot etc and managed to deliever some hits with him at the box office. She then once again get back with Ajay Devgan and did a movie titled Major Saab in which she got the chance to share screen space with megastar Amitabh Bachchan for the first time. Her romantic movie opposite Akshaye Khanna titled Dahek also failed to get success at the box office.

Her next big hit came in the form of Aamir Khan starrer patriotic film Sarfarosh. However, her role was just of a glamour doll in the film but still she managed to impress audience and critics with her act. She tried her hands in comedy as well and starred opposite Govinda in a comedy flick titled Jis Desh Mein Gnaga Rehta Hai. Her last movie was Karan Johar’s Kal Ho Naa Ho in which she was seen playing a supporting role.
