Bollywood adventure flick, Alibaba Aur Chalis Chor, directed by Latif Faiziyev and written by Shanti Prakash Bakshi was released on May 30, 1980. The movie starred Dharmendra and Hema malini in lead roles while Zeenat Aman, Prem Chopra, Madan Puri, Rola Bykov, Frunzik Mkrtchyan, Sofiko Chiaueli and Zakir Mukhamedzhanov also played important characters in the film. The hit music of the movie was directed by the well knwon veteran music director Rahul Dev Burman while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Alibaba ( Dharmendra ), who is living a wealthy lifestyle alongwith his mother and brother. But his brother emotionally balckmails him and inherit his share of property as well. Alibaba is then forced to live a poor life. He then meets with a beautiful girl named Marjina ( Hema Malini ) and instantly falls in love with her. The region where Alibaba is residing is terrorized by dacaits. Alibaba reveals about the cave of the dacaits where they used to keep their wealth. He takes a lot of jewel from the cave in the absence of dacaits.

His brother learns about the new found wealth of Alibaba and ask him about it. Simple minded Alibaba tells him the truth. His brother then goes to take the wealth of dacait but unfortunately get killed by the dacaits. Dacaits reveals that Alibaba knows about the cave and decides to kill him. But Alibaba is rescued by a girl named Fatima ( Zeenat Aman ), who father has been killed by the dacaits and she is seeking revenge from dacaits. What will happen next?
