The movie All Rounder was an action drama released in 1984. The movie was produced and directed by Mohan Kumar. The lead roles in the movie were played by Kumar Gaurav, Rati Agnihotri, Shakti Kapoor and Asha Lata. Other good supporting roles were played Vinod Mehra, Yunus Parvez and Sujit Kumar. The music of the film was given by Laxmikant Kudalkar and Pyarelal while the singers were Asha Bhosle, Suresh Wadkar, Alka Yagnik and Amit Kumar. The lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi.

The story is a different one from the monotonous Indian romantic movies. The story is about two brothers Ajay ( Kumar Gaurav ) and Birju ( Vinod Mehra ) who are very close to each other. Ajay was a very good cricket player so Birju always used to motivate him and pushed him to become a cricketer. Ajay went on to become a famous cricketer but his popularity had earned him many enemies. Among his enemies was Vikram ( Shakti Kapoor ) who was very jealous of Ajay and wanted to end his  career.

Vikram comes up with a plan and makes Ajay really drunk. Ajay in the effect of alcohol misbehaves with the people on the field and thus is punished and dismissed from cricket. All his fans were shocked and disappointed by his behaviour. Ajay when regains his senses, becomes an alcoholic to forget his past. Ajay’s relationship with his girlfriend ( Rati Agnihotri ) to was getting worst. As in all Hindi movies all is well in the end. Ajay is able to prove his truth and now is back with his fans and family behind him. The movie had some beautiful songs.
