The movie Andar Bahar was an action thriller released on 7 September, 1984 under the banner of Uttam Chittra. The movie was directed by Rajan Sippy and the producer of the movie was R N Sippy. The main roles in the movie were played by Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Danny Denzongpa and Moon Moon Sen. Other good roles were played by Gulshan Grover, Kajal Kiran, Kader Khan and Shakti Kapoor. The music of the movie was given by R D Burman while the singers were Suresh Wadekar, Asha Bhosle and Shailendra Singh.

The male lead in the movie was played by Jackie Shroff. In the movie Ravi ( Jackie Shroff ) plays the role of an under cover police officer. Ravi had to gather clues about Shera ( Danny Denzonapa ), who was becoming a threat to the society and had to put him behind bars. He finds Shera hard to pin down and Ravi’s all attempts to teach him a lesson were waste. So he comes up with a plan to apprehend him.

He takes the help of one of his prisoners Raja ( Anil Kapoor ) and decides that somehow he will get him adjusted in Shera’s gang and Raja will provide him clues which will help Ravi arrest Shera. Raja open handedly agrees to Ravi’s offer. Raja is released from the prison what Ravi didn’t knew was that Raja had his own plans to escape. Will Ravi be successful in executing his plans or will Raja bring more trouble to Ravi? The story is an interesting one with lot of surprise elements. Special appearances were given by Parikshit Sahani and Anita Raaj.
