Andha Kanoon was an action film released on April 8, 1983. The movie was directed by T Rama Rao and produced by Purnachandra Rao. The key roles in the movie were played by Rajinikanth, Hema Malini, Reena Roy and Pran while Madhavi, Prem Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, Amitabh Bachchan,  Amrish Puri and Om Shiv Puri were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Laxmikant Kudalkar and Pyarelal while the songs were sung by S.P.Balasubramaniam, Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar and Rajeshwari Sachdev.

Andha Kanoon was a famous action film of its time and managed to grip the attention of the audience for a long time. The story of the movie revolved mostly around a man named Vijay Kumar Singh ( Rajinikanth ) who witnessed the death of his father and sister at a very young age. The murder was committed by three people known as Amar ( Prem Chopra ), Akbar ( Danny Denzongpa ) and Anthony ( Pran ). Vijay decided to take the revenge from them and never let them go.

Vijay did what he wanted to by killing the three people and escaped the incident by framing the murders as accidents. Later he met a person named Jan Nissar Akhtar Khan ( Amitabh Bachchan ) who helped him to move up in his life. Khan has a small and happy family consisting of his wife Zakhiya Khan and small daughter. Khan worked as a Forest Officer and one day he came across some men illegally exporting the wood to other people.
