Bollywood move, Anjaam, directed by Rahul Rawail was released on April 22, 1994. The movie starred Shahrukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles and the otherstarcast of the film includes Beena Banerjee, Deepak Tijori, Kiran Kumar and Sudha Chandran in important roles. The melodious music of the film was given by the renowned music director duo, Anand Milind while the songs were sung by Abhijeet, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Sadhna Sargam and Sapna Awasthi. The movie was not so successful at the box office but revieved positive reviews for its music.

The movie starts with Vijay Agnihotri ( Shahrukh Khan ), who believes in getting everything he wants at any cost. During one of his business trip, he meets with a beautiful air-hostess named Shivani Chopra ( Madhuri Dixit ) and eventually falls in love with her. He tells his mother about this and ask her to go Shivani’s house with his marraige proposal. But he get shocked when he learns that Shivani is already married to a pilot, Ashok Chopra ( Deepak Tijori ). Vijay finds it difficult to accept this news and starts behaving abnormaly.

Ashok and Shivani are now parents of a sweet girl named Pinky. Vijay once again returns in Shivani’s life and ask her husband to work for his new air-line company. Both Ashok and Shivani are unknown to the cruel intentions of Vijay. Vijay kills Ashok and frame Shivani in the case of his murder. Shivani is sent to jail and is torchered heavily. When She returns from jail, she becomes a totally changed women. She tries to find Vijay to take revenege from him. But there is one more surprise for her? What is that shocking surprise?
