Bollywood comic caper, Ankhiyon Se Goli Mare, directed by Harmesh Malhotra and written by Rajeev Kaul was released on August 2, 2002. The movie starred Govinda and Raveena Tandon in lead roles while Kadar Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Asrani, Avtar Gill, Rana Jung bahadur, Johnny Lever, Satyendra Kapoor, Beena banerjee, Dinesh Hingoo and Anajana Mumtaz also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was composed by the hit music director duo Anand-Milind while the songs were crooned by Vinod Rathod, Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Jaspinder Narula, Alka Yagnik etc.

Akhendra Bhangare aka Topichand ( Kadar Khan ) runs an antique store but in reality he is a criminal don of the city. He is living alongwith his wife, Sulekha and a young and beautiful daughter, Kiran ( Raveena Tandon ). He wants Kiran to get married with a criminal like him. Bhangare picks a gangster named Shakti Dada ( Shakti Kapoor ) to be his prospective son-in-law. Meanwhile, Kiran meets with a wealthy guy named Raj Oberoi ( Govinda ) and falls in love with him. Kiran and Raj decides to get married soon.

But Kiran knows that her father wants her to get married with a gangster therefore he ask Raj to pretend a gangster in front of her father. Raj starts his training from a trainer named Subramaniam ( Johnny Lever ). Soon Raj manage to convince Kiran’s father that he is a criminal like him. Bhangare then gives his nod for their marraige. But problem once again strikes when Bhangare’s father Thakur Rana enters in the scenario and refuse to accept a criminal as a groom for her granddaughter.
