Songs of Anokha
Bollywood action drama, Anokha, directed by Jugal Kishore and written by R. Bhardwaj was released in the year 1975. The movie starred Shatrughan Sinha and Zarina Wahab in lead roles while A. K. Hangal, Jayshree T., Meena T., Imtiaz Khan, Jeevan, Paintal and Kanhaiyalal also played significant roles in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was directed by the well known veteran music director duo Kalyanji-Anandji while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, Mukesh, Mahendra kapoor, Amit Kumar, Suman Kalyanpur etc.
The movie starts with a guy named Hridyanath ( A. K. Hangal ), who works as a headmaster in a village. He wants all his students and the villagers to make a better lifestyle for themselves and therefore always encourage them for it. He even takes help of his friend named Kanhaiyalal ( Kanhaiyalal ), who is the moeny lender of the village, to forgive some loans of the villagers. Hridyanath’s son, Ram ( Shatrughan Sinha ) is studying medical in the city. One day a villager named Dhanno arrives from the city and tells Hridyanath that Ram had given his omney to return to Village.
However, Hridyanath refuse to accept his saying as he knows that Ram can’t afford to give money away. But little does he knows is that Ram is living a double life in the city, one of a medical student and another of a hencman of a smuggler, Manchanda ( Jeevan ). Ram abducts a girl named Sudha ( Zarina Wahab ) and ask for a huge sum of amount in return of her. He then collects the money and decides to return to his village. But he get shocked to reveal that his father is now known to all his bad deeds.
