Bollywood action thriller, Apradhi, directed by K. Ravi Shankar and written by Anees Bazmee was released on October 28, 1992. The movie starred Anil Kapoor and Shilpa Shirodkar in lead roles while Chunkey Pandey, Anupam Kher, Vikas Anand, Aprajita, Goga Kapoor, Kiran Juneja, Suresh Oberoi, Raza Murad, Aashif Sheikh and Arun Bakshi also played significant characters in the film. The melodiuos music of the movie was composed by the veteran music director duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu etc.

The movie starts with an honest security officer named Satyaprakash ( Suresh Oberoi ) who has the responsinilty of arranging money for the operation of his daughter, Munni’s vision. He also wants arrange his younger sister, Juhi’s marraige with a good guy. But unfortunately he get killed by someone. Now its becomes difficult for the family to survive without someone who can take care of them. Then comes a young guy named Shiva ( Anil kapoor ), who assists them financially.

Shiva takes good care of thw whole family. He arranges for the eye operation of Munni so that she can see the beauty of this world. He also finds out a good guy named Chander ( Aashif Sheikh ) for Juhi’s marriage. But little does Shiva and the family knows is that Chander is the guy who killed Satyaprakas. There is also a secret about Shiva?
