The romantic comedy film Bach Ke Rehna Re Baba was released on June 17, 2005 under the banners of Sahara One and Glamour Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The movie was directed by Govind Menon and produced by Boney Kapoor and Rahul Sughand. The actors who played the top roles were Mallika Sherawat, Paresh Rawal, Rekha and Karan Khanna while supporting roles were played by Satish Shah and Suresh Menon. The music of the film was directed by Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, Kunal Ganjawala, Soumya Raoh and Kumar Sanu.

The movie Bach Ke Rehna Re Baba is directed by Govind Menon who makes an exciting comeback to the film industry with this light comedy film that features two glamorous actresses Rekha and Mallika Sherawat. The movie is also the debut film of Karan Khanna, Vinod Khanna’s nephew. The movie is a story of two con-women Rukmini ( Rekha ) and her younger sister Padmini ( Mallika Sherawat )who are so experts in their work that they can rob any millionaire in seconds. The male protagonist is played by Karan Khanna who acts as a lover boy.

The game plan of the sisters is as, after finding a millionaire, first Rukmini shows her charms and leads to the marriage, then comes the entry of Padmini who plays the character of a young gal who seduces him. Padmini leads him to divorce and thus he needs to pay hefty amount to Rukmini. They then repeat the same process on another victim. Both of them follow one simple rule that neither of them will fall in love with the opposite sex. The movie is a steamy and romantic comedy that aims to make the audience laugh.
