Bollywood romantic movie, Baharen Phir Bhi Aayengi, directed by Shaheed Latif and written by Abrar Alvi was released in the year 1966. The movie starred Dharmendra and Mala Sinha in lead roles while Tanuja, Deven Verma, Johnny Walker, Mumtaz Begum, Badri Prasad, Rehman and Madhavi also played significant characters in the film. The melodious hit music of the film was directed by the evetran music director O. P. Nayyar while the songs were beautifully crooned by Mohammed Rafi, Mahendra Kapoor, Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with Jitendra Gupta aka Jiten ( Dharmendra ), who is the editor of a newspaper by profession. He gets into a big problem after writing against the newspaper’s board of director. As a result, he is asked to resign immediately by the Managing director, Amita Sinah ( Mala Sinha ). However, when Amita finds out that Jiten has actually written the truth, he bring him back in the office and promotes him as the Chief Editor. Amita also falls in love with Jiten’s simplicity and honesty about his work. Amita is anb oprphan and lives alongwith her younger sister, Sunita ( Tanuja ).

Amita deicdes to tell her sister about Jiten and her feelings about him. But she get shocked to know that Sunita already knows him and is actually in love with him. Now Amita have to decide whether he wants Jiten for herself or wants to give away Jiten to her sister. Amita also recives a marraige proposal for Sunita from a wealthy family. Now she has the reason to force Sunita to marry that wealthy guy. What will Amita do now?
