Songs of Baharon Ke Sapne


Bollywood yesteryear hit classic movie, Baharon Ke Sapne, directed by Nasir Hussain and written by Rajinder Singh Bedi was released in the year 1967. The movie starred Rajesh Khanna and Asha Parekh in lead roles while Rajendra nath, Prem Nath, Anwar, Madan puri, Sulochana Latkar and Nan Palsikar also played important roles in the film. The melodious hit music of the film was directed by the famous veteran music director Rahul Dev Burman while the songs were rendered by Mohammed Rafi, Manna Dey, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle and Usha Mangeshkar.

Ramaiya ( Rajesh Khanna ) is the only son of Bholanath ( Nana Palsikar ), who works in a mill and lives alongwith his wife, Gauri ( Sulochana Latakar ) and a daughter Champa ( Laxmi Chayya ). Ramaiya completes his graduation in arts and makes his parents feel proud as he is the only one to complete a degree in the town. But in outer world, Ramiay’s degree has no importance and as a result he fails to gte any decent job. Bholanath too looses his job and then Ramaiya decides to work in the same mill in which his father used to work.

Ramaiya makes good relationship with his fellow workers and as a result they decides to make him their new union leader. He meets with a beautiful girl named geeta ( Asha Bhonsle ) and falls in love with her. Ramaiya brought new ideas for the well being of workers of the mill much to the anger of the mill owner, Mr. Kapoor ( Prem Nath ). Mr. kapoor tries to frame Ramaiya in the wrong charge and gets succeed in doing so.
