Bandh Darwaza was a horror movie released on June 1, 1990. The movie was directed by Shyam Ramsay and Tulsi Ramsay and was produced by Tulsi Ramsay. The actors in the lead roles were Hashmat Khan, Raza Murad, Manjeet Kaur and Kunika while the supporting roles were played by Aruna Irani, Johny Lever, Anirudh Agarwal, Shamsher Khan, Beena, Vijayendra Ghatge and Satish Kaul. The songs in the movie were sung by Sadhana Sargam and Suresh Wadkar.

There had been only few horror movies in the Bollywood so far, and Bandh Darwaza was the one of them. The movie was a good movie in fact and was able to fright the audience. The movie was directed by the Ramsay brothers who have been busy producing movies with the same genre. The monster shown in the film was also simple and plain and had nothing extra ordinary about him. But still he looked scary.

The monster had a black silk cape with high collar, very white fangs, and a fright-mask like face. He did nothing more than just shouting and smashing through a wall or a door, or just stalking relentlessly toward the frightened protagonists. There had been other horror movies like Purana Mandir but this was seriously one of the bests. The movie is for those who like watching the horror movies or are strong at heart. The movie will fright you for sure.
