The romantic comedy Bas Yun Hi was released on February 14, 2003 under the banner of Bandra West Productions. The movie was directed by Raja Mene and produced by Raja Menon. The story revolves around several characters Kabir ( Sameer Malhotra ), a chef and a café owner, his girl friend Saraswati ( Sandhya Shetty ), Sona ( Tannishtha Chatterjee ), a feminist, Rohan ( Rajiv Gopalakrishnan ), a stock broker, his financial analyst fiancée Tara ( Parmita Katkar ), Aditya ( Purab Kohli ), a prankster and Veda ( Nandita Das ). The movie begins when Aditya discovers Rohan’s Kundli and the girl he is destined to marry. Aditya then sets up a meeting between Rohan and Veda. Now begins a journey of hilarious events.
