Yesteryear hit bollywood romantic movie, Bawre Nain, directed by Kidarnath Sharma and written by Akhtar Mirza was released in the year 1950. The movie starred Raj Kapoor and Geeta Bali in lead roles while Sharda H Rai, Vijaylakshmi, Prakash, Cuckoo, Nazira and Manju also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious evergreen music of the movie was directed by the veteran music director Roshan while the songs were rendered by Mukesh, Geeta Dutt etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Chand ( Raj Kapoor ), who is living in a room on rent in a samll town. He is unable to pay the rent of the room and therefore his landlord throws him out of the house. Chand then decides to relocate in some other city. There he meets with a beautiful girl named Tara ( Geeta Bali ). They both get attracted towards each other. Chand tries to find employment for himself in the town by fails and therefore once again decides to relocate to some other town.

Tara becomes worried for his well being when she does not hear anything from him. Tara then decides to visit the town on her own to look for him. She manage to find him but get shocked to see him with another women named Rajni ( Vijayalakshmi ). Rajni claims that Chand is her fiancee and they both are going to get married soon. What Tara will do now?
