The family drama Bepanah was released in the year of 1985. The movie was directed by Jagdish Sidhana and produced by V Sagar Bhagat. The top roles in the movie were played by Shashi Kapoor, Rati Agnihotri, Mithun Chakraborty and Poonam Dhillon while Kader Khan, Madan Puri, Satyen Kappu, Suresh Oberoi, Paintal and Baby Guddo were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Khayyam while the songs were sung by Asha Bhosle, Mahendra Kapoor and Kishore Kumar.

The movie Bepanah was a social cum family drama that was able to hold the attention of the audience for a long time. The story of the movie revolved mostly around a man named Bajrang ( Mithun Chakraborty ) who initially lived in the Central part of India but later on with the passage of time, he was exploited by the people when he travelled to Bombay. The big cities have big stories in it and thus one day he comes across a beautiful girl named Bhavna Bhardwaj ( Rati Agnihotri ).

Bajrang was not only floored by her attraction but also started loving her from the bottom of his heart. The movie had something else in store for him. Bhavna is in love with Ravi Malhotra ( Shashi Kapoor ), who is a CBI Officer. Ravi and Bhavna also got intimate one day but the life circumstances forced them to live apart. Bhavna gets pregnant and gives birth to a baby boy and names him Rohit ( Baby Guddo ). Bajrang returned to her life and gave his child his father’s name.
