The family drama Beta Ho To Aisa was released in the year of 1994 under the banner of Amit Enterprises. The movie was directed by C P Dixit and featured Govinda, Anjana Mumtaz, Varsha Usgaonkar and Gulshan Grover in the lead roles while the roles of Asrani and Vijendra were also important. The music of the film was directed by Ravindra Jain and the songs were sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy, Asha Bhosle and Ravindra Jain.

The movie is a family drama which raises the real incidents of the day to day life. The story of the movie revolves around Anand ( Vijayendra Ghatge ) who is a forest officer and is married to a lovely wife Laxmi ( Anjana Mumtaz ). They have two sons Chander ( Mohan Bhandari ) who is an advocate and Suraj ( Sanjay Jog ) who is an Inspector by profession. They live with their servant Dinubhai ( Vikas Anand ) and his son Raju ( Govinda ). Anand comes across some gold bars and tries to hide them from J.K. ( Raza Murad ) who then shoots him down.

Anand reaches home and asks his family to watch him pass away. In the consequences Dinubhai also get shot which results in the upbringing of Raju by Laxmi who is Anand’s wife. She subsequently gives birth to a daughter, Asha ( Anuradha ). When Suraj comes to know about Raju’s criminal career he ask him to leave, and shortly thereafter Chander starts working for J.K. and Suraj starts taking bribes from him. Rakesh ( Gulshan Grover ) rapes Asha and also kils her husband on the wedding night.
