Bewafai was a romantic family drama released in the year of 1985. The movie was directed by K Thyagarajan while it was produced by C. Dhandayuthapani. The lead roles in the movie were played by Rajesh Khanna, Rajinikanth, Tina Munim and Pran while the presence of Padmini Kolhapure, Meenakshi, A K Hangal, Vijay Arora, Urmila Bhatt and Guddi Maruti supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar.

Bewafai was a romantic film also exposing the real facts of the societies in today’s life. The story of the movie was nothing great and revolved mostly around a girl named Asha ( Tina Munim ). Asha was in deep love with a guy named Ashok Nath ( Rajesh Khanna ) since her childhood but couldn’t tell her. Ashok was an employee with her dad. She was also bit possessive about him and couldn’t withstand anyone who wanted to impress him.

The possessiveness became so much strong that Asha even beats up a woman named Vinny who tried hard to impress him. She liked him for sure and thought that he was only his however her heart broke when she find that there was a girl named Renu who had an interest in him and Ashok also took care of her for long. When Asha meets Renu she thought to teach her a lesson but when she finds that she was a mental patient she also assisted Ashok in the same.
