The movie Bhavna was a dramatic movie released in 1984. The movie was produced by Chanda Dutt and Devi Dutt while the director of the movie was Praveen Bhatt. The main roles in movie were played by Shabana Azmi, Saeed Jaffery, Marc Zubber and Asha Lata. Other nice supporting roles were played by Satish Shah, Mahavir Shah and Vikas Anand. The music of the movie was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the singers were Asha Bhosle, Jagjit Singh, Lata Mangeshkar and Chitra Singh.

The movie’s story is an inspirational one. It’s about a woman who is cheated and left alone to survive in this harsh world. Bhavna ( Shabana Azmi ) is also the name of the central character in the movie. Bhavna is a simple lady living all alone in the city. One day Bhavna goes for a walk in park. Here she watches a man drawing beautiful sketches and was really impressed. She talks to him and to he is Ajay Kapoor ( Marc Zuber ) son of a wealthy businessman. They started meeting frequently and soon they were in love.

They married each other against Ajay’s dad consent. Soon there were in financial crises and two were living miserably. Ajay decided that he will take the help of his dad and went to him but never returned. Bhavna found out that he had married another woman. Now she was all on her own. She now started to work to earn her livelihood. Her hard work paid and she beacame a well known rich women. Bhavna in the movie has been portrayed as a lucky and blessed girl.
