Bhoot Unkle was a children magical movie that was released on October 6, 2006 under the banners of Ikon Pictures and Wam Motion Pictures. The movie was directed by Sumiet Sehgulzs and produced by Aneesh Arjun Dev and Krishan Choudhary. The lead actors in the film were Jackie Shroff, Akhilesh Mishra, Anurag Prapanna and Dev Kantawala. Music of the film had been directed by Baba Sehgal and the songs were sung by Baba Sehgal, Tarannum and Kidz.

Movies on tales of witches and ghosts are being produced a lot these days in Bollywood. A long time ago there had been produced a movie called Makdee in which there was a witch which was enacted by Shabana azmi and in this movie Bhoot Unkle there is a ghost whose role is played by Jackie Shroff, the only difference being that Jackie is a friendly ghost. The story of the movie revolves around Shyam ( Dev Kantawala ) who is a 12 year old orphan kid. His life was quite miserable as he lived with his aunt ( Rasika Joshi ) and uncle ( Anurag Prapanna ).

One day his destiny changes for good when he accidentally slips over an idol of Lord Shiva in a haunted light house. Unknowingly, he solves the mystery of missing Lord Shiva idol and comes across a ghost Bhoot Unkle ( Jackie Shroff ) who was a pirate before his death. He tried to rob the idol some hundred years ago and is now trapped in the light house for the same reason. Shyam now holds the responsibility of saving the idol from the corrupt hands of the politician ( Akhilendra Mishra ). Bhoot Unkle also helped him with every problem that he faced.
