Big Brother was an action and romantic film which was released on April 13, 2007 under the banner of Vijayta Films. The movie has been directed and produced by Guddu Dhanoa. The leading roles were played by Sunny Deol, Shahbaaz Khan and Priyanka Chopra while Danny Denzongpa, Farida Jalal, Raju Shrivastava and Shernaz Patel were also there in the film. The music of the film has been directed by Sandesh Shandilya and Anand Raj Anand while the songs were sung by Shreya Ghosal, Udit Narayan, Kunal Ganjawala, Alka Yagnik, Jaspinder Narula and Sunidhi Chauhan.

The movie Big Brother was earlier thought to be titled as Deodhar Gandhi. The movie will remind you the days when Sunny Deol used to play the role of an angry man like in movies Ghayal, Ghatak and Farz. The movie also displays few songs in quick succession I the beginning making it unbearable to watch. The story of the movie is about Deodhar Gandhi ( Sunny Deol ), a simple modern guy who loves his family, comprising of mother Seetadevi ( Farida Jalal ), brother ( Imran khan ) and sister ( Prachi ), very much.

The actual story starts when a Minister’s son throws acid on Deodhar’s sister’s face. The middle classed family decided to leave the town and shifted to Mumbai but so did their troubles. When it became unbearable to them Deodhar and his mother decided to face the problems. Deodhar became the Big Brother and started doing justice in his own but aggressive ways. Soon he became a hero in the eyes of public. Deodhar can be seen throwing people from the buildings, beating the bullies and even teaching law to the corrupt cops. It seemed that the presence of Priyanka Chopra was just to have a heroine in the film.
