Bollywood romantic family drama, Boond Jo Ban Gayi Moti, directed by Rajaram Vankudre Shantaram was released in the year 1967. The movie starred Jeetendra and Mumtaz in lead roles while Nana Palsikar, Akashdeep, Surendra, Lalita Pawar and Vaishali also played important characters in the film. The hit evergreen music of the movie was directed by the well known music director Satish Bhatia while the songs were beautifully crooned by Mukesh.

The movie starts with a guy ( Jeetendra ), who works as a school teacher in a village. His younger brother ( Akashdeep ) studies in a college. Jeetendra loves his brother very much and always tries to make life better for him but on the otherhand, Akashdeep is a big lier and always ask for money from his elder rbother. Akashdeep is in the bad company of some of his friends and therefore becomes like them. He often lies to his elder brother for money. He ask for money from Jeetendra telling him the lie that he needs to buy new books and severeal other required stuffs.

Jeetendra is loved and respected by everyone in the village. Vaishali ( Mumtaz ) is the daughter of a the meighbour of Jeetendra. Vaishali is secretly in love with Jeetendra. Jeetendra get shocked to learn that his younger brother has not appeared in his BA examination. He get another shock of his life when it is revealed that a girl is pregnant with his younger brother’s son. What will happen now?
