Bollywood romantic comedy movie, Bundal Baaz, directed by Shammi Kapoor was released in the year 1976. The movie starred Rajesh Khanna and Sulakshana Pandit in lead roles while Shammi Kapoor, Johnny Walker, Kamal Kapoor, Viju Khote, Farida Jalal, Ranjeet, lalita Pawar, Dev Kumar and Mukri also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was composed by the well known music director Rahul Dev Burman while the songs were crooned by Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar etc.

Rajaram alias Raja ( Rajesh Khanna ) is living a poor lifestyle in a village alongwith his unmarried sister named Malti ( Farida Jalal ). Raja always of dreams of becoming rich but does not want to work hard at all. Raja arrives in the coity to fullfill his dream. There he come across a beautiful girl named Nisha Sharma ( Sulakshana Pandit ) and falls in love with her. Nisha belongs to a wealthy family. Raja then pretends to be a rich guy so that he can get married with Nisha. But Nisha’s father wants her to get married with another guy named Ranjeet ( Ranjeet ).

Raja finds an employement as a labourer with Sukhilal. But he is thrown out of the job when he is found slacking there. He then meets with a guy named Suleiman ( Johnny Walker ), who collects the waste material. Raja also decides to work alongwith him. Raja finds a bottle in waste material and bring it home. The bottle accidently falls down and a two thousand old year old Jinnie ( Shammi Kapoor ) pops out of it. Now Raja is his master and he can wish anything from jinnie. What will happen next?
